Two Summer Open Houses to be held for prospective students

Friday, June 21, and Friday, July 19

Matthew Stultz May 20, 2019

Waynesburg University will offer two Summer Open Houses for prospective students and their families Friday, June 21, and Friday, July 19. Each open house will begin at 9 a.m. and end at approximately 1:30 p.m.

“Summer Open House offers a great first look at Waynesburg University for prospective students and their parents,” said Jackie Palko, director of admissions. “Prospective families will also have the opportunity to engage with plenty of current students and faculty.”

Both events will include information regarding the admissions process, financial aid and student activities. Students attending will have the opportunity to meet with faculty in their area of interest and participate in a guided campus tour. The visit will end with lunch in the Benedum Dining Hall.

Waynesburg University enrolls approximately 1,400 undergraduate students, with more than 70 academic concentrations for students to study. Ninety-nine percent of the Class of 2017 has reported working full time or studying in their chosen field within one year of graduation.

The University has also consistently been ranked as a top school for value, including being ranked No. 6 on U.S. News & World Report’s Regional Universities North list.
