Waynesburg University students to serve in Pittsburgh

During Spring Break, 17 Waynesburg University students will serve at various organizations in Pittsburgh. Led by Adrienne Tharp, coordinator of the Bonner Scholar Program, the Pittsburgh Immersion trip will begin Sunday, March 3, and end Friday, March 8.

Tharp said students will be exposed to different types of urban poverty. They will serve at World Vision, the Pittsburgh Food Bank, the Connect Center, First Presbyterian Church and the Northside Homeless Alliance.
