Stacey Brodak

Vice President for Institutional Advancement and University Relations

Biography

Stacey Brodak, Vice President for Institutional Advancement and University Relations, joined Waynesburg University in 2017. She leads the teams responsible for the University’s fundraising and development initiatives, as well as marketing and advertising initiatives.

Upon her arrival to the University, Ms. Brodak worked with her team to launch a new branding campaign and website for the University and helped to successfully conclude the University’s O.A.K.S. Campaign, a comprehensive fundraising initiative, in 2020. Most recently, she also helped to facilitate the launch of a new campus store, The Nest.

Experienced in program building, external affairs and community engagement, Ms. Brodak has a broad background in communications, donor stewardship, government and community relations, corporate social responsibility, leadership and management for both the private and public sectors. In 2018, she helped launch the University’s Center for Corporate Social Responsibility.

Prior to joining Waynesburg University, Mrs. Brodak spent a decade serving as a senior advisor for government, community and media relations for two Fortune 500 energy companies in southwestern Pennsylvania and over 15 years leading tourism initiatives for Morgantown, West Virginia.

Active in the community, she currently serves as an officer on the board of Blueprints, formerly Community Action Southwest. Ms. Brodak is a graduate of Leadership Pittsburgh (LP 36) and has served on the Washington County Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors and on the executive boards of the West Virginia Oil and Natural Gas Association, the Marcellus Shale Coalition and the ARC Human Services Foundation.
