Student Outcomes

In compliance with the Student Right to Know Act, Waynesburg University provides the following graduation/completion rate information. Graduation rates are based on a cohort of full-time, first-time, bachelor degree-seeking students who enrolled at the institution during the fall term and for whom 150% of the normal time to completion has elapsed.

• The cohort may be adjusted for the following reasons:
  • Students who died or became permanently disabled
  • Students who left school to serve in the armed forces (or have been called up to active duty)
  • Students who left school to serve with a foreign aid service of the Federal Government
  • Students who left school to serve on an official church mission
• Graduation rates do not include students who have transferred into the University from another institution.
• Providing substantial preparation for students to enroll in other institutions is not part of the University’s mission. Therefore, transfers-out is not reported.

Freshman to sophomore retention is based on a cohort of full-time, first-time, bachelor degree-seeking, undergraduate students who entered the institution in the fall term and who also enrolled for the fall term of the next academic year. The cohort may be adjusted for the reasons stated above.

* Financial aid data is a good faith effort to comply with the Higher Education Act provision, effective in August 2008.

Post Graduate Outcomes

This information is presented to comply with the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008. Graduates are surveyed at the time of graduation and again one year out.
